This page lists the lab's bacterial strains, their Connecticut pathogen registrations, and BSL-2 training material. Ask the PI for the lab password.
Every strain in the lab, cross-checked against our EHS pathogen registrations. Adding a strain whose species is a registered-pathogen candidate automatically opens a registration request for the PI. Every add, edit and retirement is logged and notified.

New strains go into the lab collections, MOYb for isolates the lab derives and External for anything obtained from ATCC, the CGC or another lab. Personal collections are not an option here. If you keep your own stocks, tell the PI and record the freezer location, so the lab can find and account for them.
You can add, edit and retire entries here. Changes are written to a wiki-owned file that the build script merges on top of the strain sheets, so an edit survives every rebuild and nothing is silently overwritten. Every change notifies the PI and keeps a history of who changed what.
Records marked draft are written but not yet submitted to Yale EHS. Do not begin work on a draft organism until the PI confirms approval.
